Biography

1957           Born in Murom in the Soviet Union

1976           Graduated from the Moscow Art College

1976–1982 Study of painting at the Moscow State Art Institute under Prof. K.D. Mochalsky, a celebrated Russian painter.

Since 1987  Member of the Artists Union of Russia

 

Exhibitions

In Denmark, Russia and Germany. He has taken part in many solo and group exhibitions in Moscow as well as regional Republican and Union exhibitions throughout the ex-Soviet Union. Since 1989 he has actively participated in numerous exhibitions and auctions of Russian art abroad.

Georgi Dimitriev’s works are found in galleries and private collections in Russia, Germany, France, Denmark, Japan, Taiwan and Turkey.
