SHIPPING/DELIVERY ON APPROVAL
The most important goal for us is to become your art consultants for life. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your acquisition and never know the feeling of “buyer’s remorse”. We take the risk out of acquiring art by shipping or delivering almost every work of art within the United States on approval. That way, you can make this important decision at home and without pressure.

You deliver on approval, what does that mean?
It means that if you live in the area, we will bring almost any work of art to your home, so you can make your decision based on how you like the work in your own surroundings.
What if I am not in the area?
We want to give you the opportunity of seeing a work of art in your own home and to be able to make a sound decision whether your home is local or not. We will ship art work on approval anywhere in the U.S.
How does shipping on approval work?
If we cannot deliver a work of art to your home for you to see, we will ship it via FedEx anywhere in the U.S. Then you have 3 days to approve of your purchase and if you aren’t satisfied we will grant you a full refund upon return receipt of the work of art in good condition and in the original crate.
How much does shipping or delivery cost?
We charge a small flat fee depending on size and distance to cover some of the shipping costs, however it will be much less than the actual crating, shipping and insurance costs. For shipping costs on a particular item, please contact us. Delivery within the Coachella Valley is free.
Are shipping charges refundable?
Since we have to pay for the crate and FedEx whether you approve of your purchase or not, the shipping charges are not refundable. However we will give you a gift certificate in the same amount for your next purchase at the gallery, so you never actually have to pay for shipping as long as you are collecting art from the Hart Gallery.
Do you ship any work of art on approval?
We ship almost everything on approval. There are some exceptions such as small sculptures and certain high priced items. It will tell you on the detail page of each item if it is omitted from shipping on approval.
What do I have to do prior to getting a work of art on approval?
Not much, really! All we expect you to do is to measure if the size of the art work would be suitable for the space you are thinking of. You will be pleasantly surprised, because our art work looks so much better in person than on the screen of your computer.
How long does it take to ship?
Depending on the work you wish to acquire, the crating takes 2-3 business days, shipping usually takes three days, so you can count on receiving your shipment within 5-6 business days after we have received payment, unless there are special requests like framing.
